Hi, I’m Lily! I was first taught to knit by my grandma when I was around six and then joined the knitting club at my primary school, but it wasn’t until I started university that I really started knitting properly. After that, it quickly became the thing I most love to do with my free time, and since then I’ve made a range of sweaters, tops, and socks. I particularly enjoy knitting colourwork and cables, as I love to see patterns building up while I knit!

I am currently working towards my master’s degree in Theoretical Physics, so I am well-practiced with thinking through numbers and juggling data on spreadsheets. This has also given me lots of experience with writing reports following a very strict style, so I have developed an eye for detail and am very used to combing through pages of writing searching for errors.

I recently completed the Learn To Tech Edit Knitting course from the Tech Editor Hub and thoroughly enjoyed nerding out over knitting maths. I am a bit of a perfectionist and love to problem solve, so tech editing makes my brain very happy. I already spend my time talking about knitting to anyone who’ll listen, so I’m always excited to meet more fellow knitting-lovers!
